The second edition of BIOREPORT 2012 is divided into three parts: the first presents the official data available on the sector, as companies number, invested UAA, market trends and the use of technical instruments; in the second there is an analysis of legislation and public support; the third shows some issues on the sector organization.

This edition introduces an analysis of a regional case, Emilia-Romagna and its organic farming policies to spread positive experiences that can be replicated in other contexts.

There are also analysis of the sub-sectors of pasta, cosmetics and detergents and use of organic products in school meals.
