Elements for the preparation of the RDP (Rural Development Plan) 2014-2020: guidelines from the European Commission

On its next working paper - Elements of strategic planning for 2014-2020 - the National Rural Network, aims to bring to the attention of the regional administrations, the new guidelines of the next European Commission program. This document introduces the new features of the 2014-2020 programming period and assumes that the RDP new rules must be followed in the process leading to their approval. This seminar will focus on these new features, highlighting the opportunities and the main critical issues still to be clarified in the preparation of the RDP.

In addition the seminar will focus on some key issues that relate to the construction of the program, at a time when most of the regional administrations are preparing to work on the analysis of the needs and the definition of the resulting strategy. The seminar is intended primarily for the managing authorities and to all those subjects that will contribute to the ex-ante evaluation, the analysis of the context and needs.

The proposed themes will be introduced starting from the experience which is being carried out in the preparation of the PSR, and in the subsequent discussion.
