On 20th June 2015 it has been held a conference entitled "Agriculture as strategic sector for the  safeguarding of water resources in the Mediterranean sea" at the Auditorium, "Palazzo Italia" of Expo 2015.

Waiting for the next updating of the Water Framework Directive, the conference aims at being the occasion for sharing, also with the EU Commission, feasible proposals to be supported in the reviewing phase, which are closer to the peculiarities and needs of the agricultural world of a part of Europe where primary sector is, still today, a reason for living, landscape, culture.

All this without neglecting the principles of efficiency and saving of an essential resource in the life of each of us.
