Is now available the presentation of the seminar, held on 28th May, in Florence, entitled "The enhancement of the oil-mill's by-products", coordinated by "Agroenergie" and "Accademia dei Georgofili".

The seminar has represented a cause for reflection about the demand and supply for innovation by the oil-mill businesses. They have been illustrated the chances offered by the new technologies for an innovative use of the by-products that could become, therefore, an integrative source of revenues for oil-mills.

The seminar ended up with the disclosure of the survey on the use of the oil-mill's by-products in Calabria, carried out by CRA-INEA, aiming at illustrating the status quo of the implementation of innovations in the use of the oil-mill's by-products.

The survey belongs to a wider research project entitled "Study and analysis of the needs for innovation of the olive-oil and oil-mill businesses in Calabria".
