Lo spreco alimentare in Italia
It's now available the brochure "Lo spreco alimentare in Italia", implemented under the project "Promotion of rural culture". The work, which aims to inform and raise awareness among citizens, particularly the younger subjects, on this important issue, describes food waste in Italy along the food chain, with particular emphasis on the production phase. The brochure presents an analysis of losses in the field on the basis of ISTAT data and proposes a new reading of the environmental and cultural phenomenon. They are presented also some examples of the fight against food waste, with a reminder of the current legislation, the National Plan for the prevention of food waste and the role of research.
