Norme e regole per la commercializzazione dell'olio di oliva
In order to address the issue of marketing of olive oil in all its complexity, INEA has organized a seminar as part of the project "Olive oil Plan, Action 9.1 – Analysis of regulations", entitled "Rules and regulations for the marketing of olive oil. Lights and shadows in the market dynamics". The seminar has involved academics, legal experts and representatives of the organizations and associations so as to discuss recent measures and prospects for the competitiveness of our product.
The publication, which contains the papers presented at the workshop as well as the speech of the participants to the round table, offers a careful analysis of the marketing strategies to enhance the quality of Italian products. Furthermore, it delves into specific matters concerning the interpretation and application of the Community and national legislation.
Particular attention is paid to the Law n. 9/2013 which provides the "Rules on the quality and transparency of the supply chain for virgin olive oils". Prospects and proposals for the competitiveness of Italian products emerge from the reports of both economists and jurists which spoke at the seminar, as well as by the actions of the operators and experts who joined the round table.
