After the first meeting of last May, the two research institutes have established the possibility of a collaboration aimed at exchanging experiences and knowledge on issues of mutual interest and competence. INEA has made available its know-how , in particular on issues related to the socio-economic research in the field of agriculture and rural development. Among the common themes that have been identified there are the :  organization of agro-industrial districts and Italian food , research cyclical and structural cyclically carried out by INEA .

Also other common issues have been detected are the local development and organization of food chains and the operation of the consortium organizations , mechanization and innovation in agriculture , multifunctionality and farm diversification.
The programming in agriculture and management of agri-environmental policies , tools and strategies to increase the added value of agricultural food production , the system of advice and transfer of innovations in agriculture.

This collaboration could share data and information, the creation of study visits and exchanges of researchers , organization of meetings and conferences on relevant issues of international politics and agrarian economy affecting the two countries.

The meeting, attended by the Director of INEA Alberto Manelli , saw the participation of the Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Italy ( Economic and Commercial Section ) , Federico Gonzalez Perini , as well as researchers of both INTA and INEA .
