Public Research in Agricultural Economics: Organisation models, objects of investigation and targets

On October 14, was held in Rome, at the headquarters of INEA, Nomentana Street, 41, a workshop organized by the Institute with other European research institutes, public and private, operating in the field of economics and agricultural policy. The workshop was attended by authorities from different European countries, as Holland, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Slovakia and Austria. The event was join, also by European Academic representatives and other European and international institutions.

The Workshop was organized in 4 panels, each of them coordinated by researchers from the Institute. The panel addressed the following topics:

  1. The public research in agriculture: objectives, organization, relations with the institutions;
  2. The challenges to face in the participated also of research results;
  3. Evolution of the research economy and agricultural policy object;
  4. The role of research institutions in the dissemination of innovations in research networks and partnerships.
