The "L'agricoltura nella Calabria in cifre 2012" booklet Is in its first edition, it has the goal to provide a range of useful informations regarding the performance of the agricultural sector and the rural development in the region of Calabria. The agricultural sector is analyzed in its cyclical and structural specificity and framed in a much more complex system, which takes into account the demographic and social environment. Part of the work is dedicated to information about the last agricultural census of 2010. 

Specific topics such as work and employment of immigrants in agriculture, the implementation of EU agricultural policies in its articulations between the I and II Pillar of the CAP and regional spending are analyzed. Are also present also economic analysis on GDP, Value Added, the land market and productivity. Some themes also of a structural nature such as agricultural structures, diversification, environment and quality (agro-energy, organic agriculture and certified products) complete the booklet.

Some relevant issues such as the goods confiscated from organized crime, rural districts, the regionalization of direct payments constitute further insights of this booklet.
