Italian agriculture in figures

Italian agriculture is an important annual information booklet produced dall'INEA and published for the first time in 1989 on the recommendation of the then Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. It is an instrument of knowledge on developments in the Italian food system. Inside it highlights the role of the primary sector in the national economy, the relationship with the food industry and distribution, the environmental sustainability of agriculture, the production of excellence; policies at different institutional levels.

Is produced annually as part of the assignment all'INEA by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (DM n. 25273 of 23/12/03), in order to provide a tool to support the programming of public intervention in agriculture

Italian foreign trade in agri-food products

Annually, provides data and analytical interpretation of the trade of food, is purely economic in nature, and the medium term. The scale is broken down in 272 Italian food products and in relation to 107 countries of origin and destination of trade

Quarterly, on-line analysis of economic data related to the primary sector. The work aims to continuously update the main trends of agriculture and agri-food industry, through the analysis of macro variables of individual production sectors, the composition of income, the structure of the business, employment, of prices and policies.
