The INEA regional office for the Emilia-Romagna region provides consulting, technical assistance and information in favor of the regional administration and other local authorities.

The office carries out research and investigations through the development of their projects and or participation in projects promoted by other research organizations.

The regional office participates in the following scientific and technical activities promoted by INEA head office :

- FADN, and the National Rural Network; yet, conducts surveys on the Land Market and monitoring of public spending in agriculture.
