The social farming (AS) appears as a complex phenomenon not yet well defined and restricted.

This phenomenon includes practical and theoretical references also very different from each other. The AS is in fact a container of different answers to local specific contextual problems, and needs. 

Is important not only to analyze common features, the similarities, and convergences, but also highlight the differences and specific nature.
