The INEA regional office for Tuscany carries out institutional, national and local activities, in conjunction with local agencies.

The office collaborates with the Region of Tuscany, ARSIA IRPET, universities and other institutions and organizations for the advancement of knowledge and to meet the needs of the regional local programming. 
The office participates in the scientific and technical activities promoted at national level and performs the following institutional activities:

Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN). The office ensures the functioning of the network accounting in the region, providing technical and methodological support for the detection, Selection of farms and detectors, for collection of business data, their correction and processing for economic analysis.

National Rural Network (NRN). The office provides a constant link between the Ministry of Agriculture, and the regional administration for the implementation of policies for rural development.

Annual survey on the land market and about immigrants in agriculture. Several economic surveys carried out with local experts and operators.

Monitoring expenditure Regional Agriculture. Collection and classification of data from the regional budget related to the agri-food sector and rural development.
