The INEA regional office for Valle d'Aosta carries out research and investigations through the development of their projects and/or participating in projects promoted by other research organizations. The office participates in the scientific and technical activities promoted by the national office.

Activities:

Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN). Operation of the data network in the region, providing the technical and methodological support in all phases of the survey, selection of the companies technicians detectors, and data collection company, and subsequent economic analysis.

National Rural Network (NRN). The office provides a link between the Ministry of Agriculture, the regional government and other local institutions involved in the implementation of policies for rural development.

Annual survey on the use of non-EU immigrants in the Italian agriculture. The aim is to provide a detailed analysis on the composition of the workforce in the primary sector.

Annual survey on the land market, collection and processing of the data regarding the average prices of the land based on regional basis indices.
